COVID-19 Update at Laclede Chain
Your team at Laclede Chain remains committed to keeping essential businesses going despite the continued disruption due to COVID-19 and the resulting economic slowdown.
While many businesses have been forced to close during the pandemic, all Laclede Chain Manufacturing locations still remain open to serve the needs of all our customers. In order to provide support for essential industries such as infrastructure, transportation, and agriculture, we are continuing to operate with adjustments to our daily operations to keep our customers and employees safe.
To assist in accomplishing our duties as safely as possible, we’ve implemented several precautionary steps to keep our workforce safe. All employees have been educated on our illness exposure plan. Our plants have implemented social distancing and members of our sales department are working remotely. All Laclede Chain team members are working hard to get your orders out the door as safely as possible.
Here are the current action steps we have taken for COVID-19:
- – Stocking all facilities with hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes and implementing stringent cleaning protocols
- – Sewing our own reusable fabric masks for our team members to wear during their shifts
- – Practicing social distancing by maintaining 6 feet between team members within our plants and having sales and support team members work from home
We will continue to monitor the situation daily and we will update our plan accordingly as the CDC and local governments provide additional recommendations. If any adjustments become necessary, we will be sure to make updates to this page on our website.
