Chain Sling Education
Laclede Chain’s next customer sling class is slated for Monday, April 14th, 2014.
Not sure what a “DOG” chain sling means? Hint -It’s not a furry friend on four legs with a chain leash. A “DOG” is a Double chain sling with an Oblong master link on one end and Grab hooks on the other ends. The attendees at our sling class will learn chain sling terminology such as “DOG.”
Other helpful topics at the sling class include:
- Process for manufacturing G80 & G100 Alloy chain
- Quality procedures for manufacturing
- Plant tour
- Sling Assembly
- Attachments
- Q/A
- Written open book test
- Hands on Sling Inspection
- Review
